After peeling, you can repair the care mask. If your skin is sensitive or you are familiar with it, ask your esthetician first for advice. There are ingredients on the market, ingredients that are subject to descriptions that do not always appear for every skin type.
If you want and have no contraindications, you can send a message once a week, here more moisturizing, soothing, regenerating or once every 2 or 3 weeks. Some masks, such as clay masks or masks with acids, may cause irritation. They may cause side effects, but at a later time or as a result side effects may occur and hydrolipid effects, which may have the opposite effect than intended.

CARE MASK – has various forms and is usually suitable for all skin types. It can be in cream, gel or enzymatic form (described above). It can be algae, sheet or clay. First of all, it is supposed to help us. Do not harm, do not irritate, do not dry out. The best in this case, which is used on a mask with a moisturizing, regenerative, nourishing effect.

ALGAE MASK – should contain algae, which are rich in minerals such as calcium, iron, potassium. They perfectly soothe, moisturize and make the skin soft. The mask is a powder and must be mixed with cold water. When mixing it, you must follow the proportions given by the manufacturer and mix vigorously until you obtain the consistency of thick cream. When you spread it on your face, it hardens to a rubbery consistency. Difficult to make at home. Perfect for all skin types. It’s wonderfully relaxing.

SHEET MASK – these are masks most often made of cotton, biocellulose or microfiber. The material from which the mask is made is dipped in serum with active ingredients. Pieces of plastic cut out with holes for the nose, eyes and mouth are placed on the face. If there is any serum left in the package, it is worth using it for care.

CLAY MASK – a powdered mask that is mixed with water. They are a source of micro and macro elements. IMPORTANT: Just like every ingredient, every clay has its own properties. When applying it to the skin, be careful not to let it dry out. It is best to apply it while bathing and moisten it. Dried clay damages the hydrophilic coat and irritates the skin.

WHITE CLAY – sensitive and dry skin. Soothes irritations and cleanses. It prevents the development of inflammatory conditions.

GREEN CLAY – combination, oily skin with efflorescence. It has antibacterial properties, reduces sebum secretion and soothes irritations. Absorbs excess sebum, reduces inflammation.

RED CLAY – vascular, oily, combination skin, with active rosacea. It regenerates, strengthens blood vessels, improves color and helps fight blackheads.

PINK CLAY – sensitive, dry, vascular, mature skin with rosacea. It is a combination of white and pink clay. Soothes irritations, redness, absorbs excess sebum.

YELLOW CLAY – oily, combination, seborrheic and vascular skin. Soothes irritations and reduces inflammation. It can be used on the scalp to eliminate seborrhea and dandruff.

BLUE CLAY – regeneration for all skin types. It soothes inflammation and irritation, moisturizes and enhances regenerative processes.

Please remember that a mask, although sometimes it may seem innocent, can also irritate, cause allergies, or may not be suitable for your skin. If you don’t know how to use it, ask your specialist for advice.

In addition to daily care, it is worth supporting the skin of the face, neck and cleavage with additional treatments that will help keep it strong and healthy longer. The method of action varies depending on your age and the problems you are currently struggling with. Once a month, treat yourself to a gentle enzyme peel and a moisturizing mask for your pleasure, if you feel like it. First of all, this is your time to develop healthy habits in your life, which, believe me, will bear fruit in the future.

If you still have skin problems, please see a specialist. Don’t experiment on your own, don’t buy what your friend or colleague has tried, or what influencers (not specialists) are currently writing about on the Internet. Verify it. Remember, hydration is the basis, you should deal with it yourself. Everything else can be risky. A good cosmetologist and/or dermatologist will instruct you on how to take care of your skin so as not to harm yourself.

ENZYMATIC PEELING/ENZYMATIC MASK – usually contains fruit enzymes that dissolve dead epidermis cells. This is the most delicate form of peeling that we can use depending on the problems we are struggling with and the current condition of the skin. If you are not under the care of a specialist, use it once a week (for skin with blackheads or efflorescence) or once every 2 weeks. Despite the assurances of some manufacturers, I do not recommend using enzyme peeling too often. Please remember that our microbe plays a very important role.

MECHANICAL PEELING – a peeling that contains fine or coarse particles, e.g. from seeds, grains of salt or sugar. It is more aggressive to the skin and causes more irritation. It can be used on the body area once a week or once every 2 weeks.

CHEMICAL PEELING – for professional use. We have various types of chemical peels, with different concentrations, aimed at different types of skin struggling with different problems. We divide them into superficial, medium-deep and deep. The specialist, having extensive knowledge about the skin, the body, the intended effects and possible complications, individually selects the appropriate concentration and type of acid. Its independent use often leads to complications that do not always occur immediately, but after some time of use. Various forms of chemical peeling have become available in retail stores over the past few years. More and more often, in our office, we restore skin damaged after using them. Unfortunately, if used incorrectly, they can do more harm than good.

There are several basic skin types. These are normal, dry, seborrheic (oily), sensitive, atopic, acne, mature. Most of these types do not occur alone, and the problem with their basic classification becomes more complex.

When we are children, we usually do not have skin problems, they appear with puberty or simply with age. At each stage, the skin struggles with various ailments and has its better and worse days. It changes during the menstrual cycle, on vacation, during or after an illness, after stressful situations, after saying goodbye to a loved one, lack of sleep, changes in place of residence. The factors I have mentioned are only a small part of them, which affect the functioning of our body. This is our life. It consists of beautiful moments, but there are also inevitable moments. If, on top of that, all or at least some of them coincide at one time, the results are even more powerful. This whole reflection of your health, physical and mental state of your body, has an impact on how your skin looks. For me, its condition is a map, a signpost, feedback on the current health of the patient. And that is why the selection of care for the current health state and needs of your skin changes depending on its needs and is important.

Normal skin is a childhood period. It happens that its condition lasts until the age of 25, when the first aging processes of the body begin to occur. This type of skin does not cause major problems. It has a nice color, is soft, firm, pores are not visible and usually only basic care is needed.

Dry skin can be caused by several factors, including age, when the functions of the hydrolipid coat responsible for its hydration begin to weaken. Dry skin can be atopic and sensitive skin, but this is not the rule. Burning, itching, flaking may occur and then the problem is definitely more complex. The exclusion of environmental factors that can affect its condition may additionally indicate disorders on the part of the body. This is demanding skin.

Seborrheic skin has impaired functions of the sebaceous glands due to overproduction of sebum. This overproduction is accompanied by blackheads. This process may be related to the structure of the gland itself, an inappropriate diet, hormonal imbalance and additional environmental factors. Seborrheic skin may also be sensitive and may have problems with redness. It may be accompanied by skin eruptions in the form of pimples, lumps and then the problem begins to be much more complex. This is demanding skin.

Acne skin may be accompanied by all of the above-mentioned symptoms, with additionally pimples, pustules, lumps, nodules or cysts. Acne is a disease entity and may have different stages and developmental processes. The factors of acne formation are different and usually complex. Acne may worsen, among others. through environmental factors, stress, diet, medical conditions and hormonal imbalance. If, in addition to this, there are problems with dilated blood vessels, redness, dryness, burning, it may be a sign of rosacea, which is usually acne of adulthood. This is demanding skin.

Mature skin. After the age of 25, our body begins to age. The first signs of ageing begin to appear on the skin of our face, the first visible lines, wrinkles, the skin under the eyes and on the whole face begins to become increasingly flaccid due to the slow atrophy of the sebaceous glands. The first signs are the least noticeable. The next symptoms of ageing appear after the age of 30, then after the age of 40, 50, etc. The first ones are more noticeable to us at the age of 30, 40, 50. The cells of our body slow down the intensity of their work, some of them become impaired with age. In addition, there are hormonal changes in the body, which contribute to increased organ dysfunctions, including the skin. With all this, there may be problems with dilated blood vessels, seborrhea, dryness, redness or acne. This is a demanding complexion. Prevention, in this case, is of great importance and as the years go by, it needs different treatment at each stage of our lives.
