SKINLAB TREATMENTS

TREATMENTS FOR PROBLEMATIC SKIN

Our first task when working with problematic skin is to get rid of the problem and inflammation. If you struggle with acne, rosacea, enlarged pores, blackheads, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis. Maybe you have eczema, psoriasis, scars, or you’re simply struggling with redness, burning, and skin that just doesn’t feel right. Don’t worry! We are known for dealing with “difficult cases.” Sometimes the route is shorter, and other times it’s longer. Every body is different, and we approach skin individually.

After consultation and diagnosis, we will establish a plan of action, cooperation and help you get rid of the problem.

We carefully select each treatment at SKINLAB.   We keep up with the latest developments and see how they work. We pay attention to the safe composition of cosmetics, safe technologies and techniques. All treatments we use are tested and certified. Your safety and health are most important to us.

We offer treatments using:

CHEMICAL PEELS >>

Chemical peels Their task is to gently remove the top layers of the skin in a controlled way, stopping before reaching the deeper layers to avoid damage. Deeper chemical peels intentionally damage the skin’s surface to trigger the body’s natural healing process. Cell damage happens in a controlled way, encouraging the skin to clear away damaged cells. As a result of this process, new, youthful cells are stimulated and produced to replace old, damaged ones, helping to renew the skin and reduce imperfections. The entire process is designed to refresh your complexion, enhance its strength, and give it a radiant, more attractive appearance.

The so-called acids are becoming more common in a range of concentrations in everyday skincare products. Using them on your own can damage the epidermis, and with prolonged use, the effects may become irreversible. These ingredients can be a double-edged sword; when used incorrectly, they might have the opposite effect of what you intended.

IPL >>

IPL is a device that produces polychromatic light and is not a laser. IPL treatments are considered non-ablative, meaning they don’t cause significant damage to the epidermis or dermis. They’re generally not painful, though you may feel a warm sensation during the procedure. For better results, it’s recommended to complete a series of 4-6 sessions. This type of light, when used with the right settings, is effective for treating redness, acne, discoloration, and improving skin firmness.

RADIO WAVES >>

Radio waves is a non-invasive device that delivers radio frequency energy to cells. The device generates heat in the deeper layers of the skin, which causes the degradation of collagen fibers (responsible for firmness) and the formation of new, stronger ones, making the skin firmer, more compact, and lifting the face oval. The procedure is most often used to improve the appearance of the cheeks, jawline, and double chin.

LED LIGHT >>

LED light (LEDs) is usually blue, red, or green. Red light strengthens collagen, fibroblasts and cells for regeneration. Blue light benefits acne-prone skin, while green light stimulates melanocytes to help reduce discoloration. LED light penetrates the epidermis and dermis. It does all this painlessly, and can even be quite relaxing.

OXYGEN INFUSION >>

Oxygen infusion is a gentle, pleasant, painless procedure that involves the administration of pure oxygen under pressure and concentrated nutrients. This treatment is perfect for all skin types, including very sensitive skin, skin prone to allergies, eczema, and rosacea. When combined with other more invasive techniques, it perfectly soothes the skin, accelerating its regeneration. It hydrates the skin, restores its color, softness and gently smoothes it.

GROWTH FACTORS >>

Growth factors are the so-called signaling proteins that act as messengers and occur naturally in our skin. They accelerate tissue regeneration processes, wound healing, stimulate collagen and elastin by activating fibroblasts. They inhibit cell degenerative processes  and can be used for every skin problem.

EXOSOMES >>

Exosomes are produced by stem cells. These are tiny nanobubbles that penetrate the skin. They have anti-inflammatory, regenerative and anti-aging properties. They improve skin cell hydration, colour and function. They can be used in conjunction with other techniques as needed and can be used for every skin problem.

MICRONEEDLE MESOTHERAPY >>

Microneedle mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure. It is performed using the so-called “pen”, which is equipped with microneedles and a cocktail tailored to the needs of your skin. It is used, among others, for treating scars, enlarged pores, and dull or tired-looking skin. It’s perfect for anti-aging therapies and as prevention.

NEEDLE MESOTHERAPY >>

Needle mesotherapy is a treatment using a very thin needle that is inserted into the skin to a depth of approx. 2 mm at intervals of approx. 5-10 mm. This technique usually involves administering a cocktail rich in microelements, vitamins and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which is not a filler but is intended to moisturize the skin. The procedure is performed using an anesthetic cream. After the procedure, the skin may feel swollen, tingly, or itchy. You may experience some minor bruising or small hematomas. This is an excellent treatment for both mature skin and for preventing signs of aging. Like many treatments, this one can also be done around the eye area.

TISSUE STIMULANTSARE >>

Tissue stimulantsare injectable treatments aimed at restoring and rebuilding the structure of aging skin. They stimulate fibroblasts, the production of collagen and elastin to rebuild their structures, improving the firmness and density of the skin. It is biorestructuring of mature skin. The procedure is performed under anesthesia, using an anesthetic cream applied beforehand. You may experience some minor hematomas after the procedure. Depending on the type of stimulants used, the treatment can be applied to 4-5 areas on one side of the face or across the entire face, neck, and décolleté.

ND-YAG LASER >>

Nd-Yag Laser (neodymium-YAG) in Q-switched mode is a nanosecond laser that delivers a high burst of energy in a very short amount of time. Using this laser, you can stimulate the skin and reduce discoloration.
